DCHS Tournament Information

Location: DCHS is located in Dickson, Tennessee, at 509 Henslee Drive. Take I-40 West from Nashville or Knoxville or I-40 East from Memphis, and exit at 172, go right onto Highway 46. Take Highway 46 through six red lights (including two immediately at the interstate exit.) At the SEVENTH red light (just past Taco Bell on your right and McDonald’s on your left), turn left onto Henslee Drive. After going through three more red lights, you should see DCHS on a hill to your right. There is a right turn lane off Henslee Drive. Drive all the way up the hill and park in front of the building. Registration will be in the lobby immediately in front of the parking lot.

Food: Outstanding food will be provided at no charge for judges and coaches in the judges’ lounge. Food will be available at the concession stand for the students.

Awards: Awards will be given to the top six in each event as determined by the rankings of the final round. Sweepstakes awards will be given for first, second, and third place schools. Ties for sweepstakes will be broken first by number of final round entries. If a tie remains, it will be broken by number of actual entries present at the tournament. Storytelling will receive cash awards for the top six places as part of a worldwide celebration of storytelling held that day.
